The work of Elizabeth De Witt (b. Long Beach, California) explores the continuum between the present (Image) and memory (Afterimage). She is committed to how this exploration of often ephemeral experiences and liminal ideas can be revealed though fixed and lasting drawings and paintings. All her work is a discussion of how multiple modes of depiction can coexist concurrently, confabulating and converging, and sometimes even clashing.
